Breathe provides sustainable carbon and energy reduction solutions to help companies transition to net zero. They achieve this through the design and construction of large-scale infrastructure renewal and renewables projects that reduce carbon and energy use as well as providing operating cost savings and improved building environments for our clients.
We were approached by Breathe Energy to create their current recruitment function, which included heavy reliance on agencies for all roles across all departments.
We recruited across all areas of the business for critical talent, including Finance, Commercial (Quantity Surveyors etc.), Business Growth and Technical. Breathe had exceptional and ambitious growth plans for the next 3+ years and with the expansion into other markets, recruitment was a crucial part of their growth plans.
What we did
When we took on the project, we had to set up the internal Recruitment function from the ground up, including creating a way to track roles and candidates, as there was no existing ATS at that stage. We created a bigger job application profile online, including job boards and recruitment marketing. We recruited for growth-critical roles, including a Marketing Communications Manager, Business Development Manager, Quantity Surveyors and Commercial Managers. We also recruited a Finance System Administrator for their implementation of Navision.
We were also involved in the implementation of their new Group Recruitment Admin System, ITrent (MHR), which was being rolled out across all sister companies in the Group.
